That is a very thought provoking little poem -- sad too, I fear.
I can only echo ChrisJ's remarks. When life puts a spanner in the works, it is difficult to overcome the worries and distractions, but I hope your creative muse will soon return.
Hello Anne, I really share your enthusiasm for the landscape and the outdoors.I often find that a simple walk where you can take in the beauty of the countryside does wonders to lift my mood. Or just sitting in my garden and relaxing. Failing that - something like the Paralympics reminds me of what just can be achieved. Truly inspiring - don't you agree?
I hope that all is well with you,the poem worried me,I have found your blog so inspirational and have enjoyed your sharing so much,I do hope we will see you here soon.
Hello Anne, I do hope that you are feeling better and more positive since you wrote your moving poem. I too have worried about you. You must not think that your creativity has left you. Maybe you need a break from some of your artistic work, but your creativity is still very much in evidence. Your poem communicated well the very depth of hurt and anxiety that you were feeling. Only an inspired writer could have written it.With all good wishes, DWxx
I think that maybe you are having trouble because of all the emotional stuff you're going through now. When your heart and mind are preoccupied, all the other things in life take a back seat. Thinking of you, as always.
